SUBURBAN DOG TRAINING CLUB
Suburban Dog Training Club is a nonprofit organization established in 1969 and incorporated in 1978, offering dog training lessons to members and nonmembers at a reasonable cost.
Classes are held in our own heated, air-conditioned, fully-matted building in Wyndmoor, PA which is easily accessible from Philadelphia and the northwest suburbs.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to encourage obedience training of both purebred and mixed-breed dogs, to conduct classes for training dogs and their handlers and to provide, by way of our demo teams, entertainment for schools and for people in charitable institutions, nursing homes and hospitals.
OUR TRAINING
Our classes range from teaching basic pet manners to training competition stars!

We offer Puppy Kindergarten, for those who want to start their puppies out on the right foot, and Beginner classes which aid you in training your dog to be a well-behaved pet.

SDTC also offers more advanced training classes including: Manners and More, Foundations for Dog Sports, Conformation, Nosework, and Rally Obedience. We also teach AKC Competition Obedience classes to prepare dogs and handlers for Novice, Open and Utility competition.

Suburban offers a variety of special classes and events to both members and non-members. We offer CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing. Special classes include Intro to Agility, Attention, Heeling, and Retrieving.
Events include our indoor show-n-gos, annual awards banquet, winter holiday party and more.
